I spent part of my honeymoon there, and had to conclude it must be one of the greatest European honeymoon destinations possible. You don’t need to be on your honeymoon, bringing your spouse, or partner on a romantic vacation to Glasgow Scotland , you need look no further than Inverlochy castle.
You wouldn’t want to be staying here if you were looking for a affordable honeymoon destination that’s for sure, but having said that, if you get the chance to stay at Inverlochy Castle, then take it.
If you have money, then opt for the King’s Suite and I’m certain you’ll get your money’s value. It is beautiful and traditional, yet it has advanced conveniences such as plasma television and internet access that can rival any other. The bath is also big, and the towels beautifully soft, and the walk-in shower is something that both of us really loved.
We didn’t go there for the room, but all the other touches from a hotel like this. It is one of the most beautifully restored Scottish castles, and arriving in the rain, an umbrella appeared, our luggage disappeared, and our car was parked. Then walking into chocolates and champagne in our suite was another nice touch
The entire stay in Glasgow was delightful as we were spoiled throughout our stay. The scenery was pleasant as we can see Ben Nevis in one window and Loch from the other. Lastly, the food was delightful.
You will enjoy the experience and place more if you are fond of a bit of hill walking, picture taking, just relishing the scene, because there isn’t a great deal entertainment around the region, but then we were on our honeymoon!!!
What we liked themost was how we were cared for by the hotel staff. They were entirely respectful to our privacy.
Because of this wonderful experience, I would advocate Inverlochy Castle in Glasgow, Scotland to be one of the most luxurious hotels and one of the best European honeymoon destinations.
